Apple Music is preparing to introduce a tiered subscription model with lower-cost options and potentially a free tier, according to evidence discovered in Android beta versions of the app between May 29 and June 1. The findings suggest Apple may implement skip limits and other feature restrictions across different subscription levels, mirroring pricing strategies used by competitors like Spotify. The changes would mark a significant shift in Apple Music's current all-or-nothing subscription approach.
