Apple's rumored HomePad home automation device will reportedly feature an interface modeled after Apple Watch, according to code discovered in recent macOS beta releases. The device appears to use a "Faces" system similar to the smartwatch's customizable watch faces, allowing users to swap between different home control layouts. Multiple sources analyzing the code indicated HomePad would function as a larger-scale version of Apple Watch's interface rather than building on the existing HomePod design, suggesting a significant departure from the company's previous smart speaker approach.
