Apple released iOS 26.4 beta 1 on February 17, introducing new features including Playlist Playground for Apple Music and an album redesign that also rolled out to Android. The company seeded subsequent beta versions throughout the period, with beta 2 arriving February 23 and beta 4 by March 9, adding refinements and new settings for Liquid Glass effects. The updates also restored some iOS 18 design elements across multiple apps as Apple continued developer testing ahead of the full release.
