Apple's iPhone 17e launched in early March 2026 to mixed critical reception, with reviewers praising its value as a budget option while questioning its necessity given the iPhone 17's capabilities. Pre-orders began March 3, followed by retail availability and carrier promotions including T-Mobile's trade-in-free offer. Apple simultaneously released repair manuals for the new device alongside updated MacBooks and iPads, while industry reports suggested iPhone 18e production remained on schedule for future release.
