Apple will delay the base iPhone 18 model until 2027, breaking from its traditional fall launch cycle, according to multiple reports from component suppliers and industry analysts. The iPhone 18 Pro lineup is expected to launch on schedule this year, with the base model receiving Pro-level features including increased memory and Dynamic Island enhancements. This shift would make the iPhone 18 Pro Apple's entry-level offering for the 2026 product cycle.
