Apple's new MacBook Neo drew mixed reviews this week as reviewers praised its performance capabilities while identifying design constraints. The laptop impressed testers handling 4K video editing and running numerous browser tabs, and garnered endorsement from a former Windows executive. However, reviewers noted concerns about hardware limitations, including a complex storage upgrade process and restrictions on Parallels virtualization support. Despite these constraints, the MacBook Neo supported Windows via Parallels and offered faster charging and lower total cost of ownership than entry-level PCs.
