Apple is expected to launch new MacBook Pro models powered by M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, with multiple indicators suggesting an announcement is imminent. Reseller inventory has begun dwindling, and references to the new chips have appeared in macOS 26.3 and iOS 26.3 beta code, according to reports from February 3-5. While one report suggested a March release timeline, the combination of depleting stock levels and chip references in development software points to a near-term announcement, likely within weeks.
